Singleton LLC advises and assists clients with regard to the formation of  business entities and business transactions.  We advise individuals with regard to which form of business entity best suits their individual and anticipated business needs.  Much of our practice is also dedicated to advising business entities with regard to matters such as buy-sell agreements, liquidations, reorganizations, stock redemptions, employment agreements, non-competition agreements, and real estate matters. 

We provide all the legal services a start-up needs to get off the ground and grow, including areas such as corporate formation, business contracts, employment law and capital financing (from angel level to venture capital).  We handle a full range of business services and problems typically encountered by entrepreneurs and business owners.  

We understand that a start-up’s budget is very tight and some founders sacrifice hiring a law firm to save money and turn to the internet for online forms and legal guidance.  This may save them some money in the short term but it may cost them a lot more in the long run because most of the legal issues surrounding start-ups are very complicated and a small mistake can later trigger a costly fix.  

Our firm is committed to helping start-ups and established businesses achieve their goals but make it affordable and flexible for them to have a strong legal foundation.  We work with a variety of clients (start-ups and established businesses) and we know that everyone's financial situation is different, and thus we provide flexible pricing and payment structures that make good business sense for all of our clients.  

Many of our most common services are available at flat rates to help take the guesswork out of budgeting.  For larger engagements, we offer installment payment plans or other arrangements to meet your needs.  For ongoing engagements, we offer outsourced general counsel services subscription packages.  For a monthly fee, you can retain us to review and draft contracts (including employment related contracts, non-disclosure agreements and business protection agreements), provide legal advice, and act as your company's general counsel. 

Singleton LLC designs executive compensation and benefits packages for executives in public and closely held corporations. We work with our clients to structure non-qualified deferred compensation plans, profits interest plans, stock options, restricted stock, phantom stock and other equity or synthetic equity plans.
